Sampling Methodology
Data is gathered through face-to-face interviewing at the household level. Sample design is that of a probability sample using a multi-staged design which has been tested and proven and is similar to that used in the GOJ Survey of Living Conditions. Data collection is island wide.
Teams of trained and supervised interviewers are deployed to collect this data over a 2 week period. Two (2) waves are conducted annually, covering persons 10-65 years and providing a large database of 5,000 each year.
